I Did Not Like My Old Skin So I Am Growing A New One April 7 2010
Holy cats my knuckles are sore today from the crash. Any creams just seems to infuriate my skin and it retaliates by making it hurt. Speaking of cats jelly is starting to feel better. She was actually able to walk today which was nice. Other then that went out for a ride in the pouring rain on the new bike with kev. It is pretty sweet even though you could not feel much through all the crap. Tomorrow should be fun going to do the grouse grind hopefully and ride sfu. Cheers to another good Wednesday (other then laundry that is). Remember if life is worth living its worth recording.

NEW BIKE April 6 2010
Got to love nice relaxing Tuesdays. Work was dead so I got a chance to build my new full suspension which I am so pumped about. It is the first fully I have looked at that automatically I have fallen in love with. Now that being said I am going to ride it and see how it feels. I mean a nice paint job and parts go a long way to polishing a turd. Got home and spent most of my time starting my laundry and changing the set-up on my board from commuter to more of a carving set up. The thing is so plush right now its sweet. Thanks to nate for hooking me up with the right build kit. The rest of the night was spent getting rides ready for the weekend to break in the bike. Anyways night.

People Are Stranger April 5 2010
Had better days. It is tough when you approach someone to help you out and they say sure then when push comes to shove they back out. You try to solve the issues that they have with whatever situation has arisen and still they refuse. Not that that’s ever happened or anything. If I am honest I am a little upset right now so I am going to keep it brief today. Work was long because it felt like a Sunday on a Monday but I got a lot of stuff done which rocked. Happy Easter April 4 2010
So my knuckles hurt like a beaver today. Pealing the badaids off was not a fun thing to do. On the plus side I went for a nice walk to and let everything air out today. Sleeping in on a Sunday… on a real weekend was pretty awesome. But tomorrow is back to the old grind so cheers to that. Happy Easter.

Recovery Day Again April 3 2010
So another recovery day> I am a little sore and scabby wiped out going downhill longboarding today. Nothing says a busy Saturday like skinning your bones to the bones. I stopped at kristi’s house and asked for a bandaid and some help. It was another typical evan intro. Remember if life is worth living its worth recording.

I CAN SKATE April 2 2010
Thanks god for short days at work. It pretty much is a day off while getting paid. That is the other thing while most other full time employees get an extra day off I never do. I know I am valuable and junk but it would be nice to get an extra day off just saying. On the plus side though when I got home I learned how to skateboard. No trick or anything but I can turn and go up and down the street now. I am even contemplating commuting to work tomorrow via the board. I emailed nate and said man even though I suck I already am enjoying it. I think when you are new at something it so rewarding when you make the baby steps because even though it doesn’t look that good you feel so awesome at the end of it. Once I get good I think I may try surfing or snowboarding. I mean I live in the only place where you can do both in the same days. Good day all around. Great End To A Good Weekend April 1 2010
So here is the weekend in a nut shell. Wednesday I woke up early and pedaled down to the shop to meet up with Kev. I was pretty stoked because we were going to ride the north shore. We however did not have a pump or a tube so we headed to kev’s house to pick up the pieces which didn’t happen but it was not a complete fail because he had to change his rear tire. Anyways we made out way over to Fromme and started the ride/ hike up. Took us about an hour to get to the top and we ended up hitting snow which is awesome. We start riding upper oilcan a black diamond trail and it was sketch with the snow. Like you hit your front brake at all and you were sliding off the log. But the bottom of the trail was super fun there was this almost sheer rock that u roll down into a cobble rock garden that is about a kilometre long if I were to guess.
Once out of oilcan I was feeling great and confident… mainly because I was riding a sweet glory DH. We ripped down the service road a bit to espresso again another black diamond trail. It was F’ed. About 10 times harder then the other trail even kev said it was hard. This one section was soaked. It was a birmed corner with roots diagonal all off of a little drop. So Kev rips through it and I see him slide out a little but save it. I on the other hand was not as lucky I make the little drop then hit the roots and slide out put my arm down then my shoulder goes limp. I think o shit here we go. So I roll my shoulder back and I pops a little. Not loud so it wasn’t bad but it hurt like a beaver. We rode out the trail but it was rough. Luckily a lady bandaged me up pretty good. I jinxed it though said o I have a tenser if I hurt my shoulder.
All that leads to today super sore but very productive. Went to work and installed my computer on my touring bike and found out how slow it is. I also stripped my commuter down solvent tanked everything stripped it all and cleaned it. The bike looked mint.
After that I went home and had a nap waiting for the call from nate the guy looking at my bike. So I pull up at coquitlam centre get my asking price and my first long board which I am super pumped on. I have wanted on for the longest time. On the plus side I rolled, on the down side I already put my first nick in it but it will happen. That was the weekend. Remember if life is worth living its worth recording
